Understanding God Manifestation – The Glory and the Name (A synopsis)

This presentation considers how God wants to manifest himself through men and women who wish to glorify him. God Manifestation is a principle that spans the scriptures, and which brings a true understanding of the relationship between God, Jesus Christ and us.

Our objective in this study is to establish some principles concerning the name of God and our association with it, and leave other aspects of God manifestation for another occasion.

The only part of God’s creation that can morally manifest God’s glory is mankind, indeed this is the reason for our existence – what a privilege and also what a responsibility! We examine the correct translation of Exodus 3:14 and discover the wonderful and continuing purpose of God bound up in his name.

We continue with a brief look at Exodus 34 and examine how God’s name is proclaimed to Moses and consider the ten attributes revealed, and how Jesus perfectly revealed these moral characteristics and also how we should reveal the same characteristics in our lives as we strive to become more like him.

This talk will start 15 minutes early than every other evening
7.45 – 9.00 – Revelation 13: The Beasts of the Sea and Earth – Brother Peter Owen (UK)
